Inge Steen's paintings are mainly inspired by the nature around her. Emotion and imagination give a new experience every time she works and every time she considers her finished result.

Inge Steen explain: “My explosive color choices are a combination of the feminine, the exotic and the original - the near and the distant. I give the paintings life - and the paintings give me life, both changeable and yet permanent. In addition to nature, I use materials such as antique notes, texts or images as inspiration. ”
