LOUISE ELKJÆR

Louise Elkjær arbejder bl.a med akryl, kul, blyant, kridt samt tusch på lærred, papir og træ. Malerierne synes ofte abstrakte, men med genkendelige og figurative elementer, der tilsammen har et ønske om at byde velkommen til en opdagelsesrejse ind i en verden formet af tanker, spartelteknik og penselstrøg. 

I Louises værker indgår der derfor ofte luftfotolignende elementer og tit i kombination med elementer i et normalperspektiv…på den måde forsøger hun at indfange flere perspektiver samt hendes menneskesyn i et og samme maleri. 

Louise Elkjær works with, among other things, acrylic, charcoal, pencil, chalk and marker on canvas, paper and wood. The paintings often seem abstract, but with recognizable and figurative elements that together have a desire to welcome a journey of discovery into a world shaped by thoughts, putty technique and brushstrokes. 

Louise's works therefore often include aerial photo-like elements and often in combination with elements in a normal perspective... in this way she tries to capture several perspectives as well as her view of people in one and the same painting.
