RAIMUND PALLUSSECK
STAND #37

"Casting off the lines inside".

Many of Raimund Pallusseck's works are inspired by music. Music is a constant companion of his painting, preferably by J.S. Bach.

The inclined viewer sees colour sounds and colour spaces. He dreams himself into the shape of Raimund Pallusseck's paintings, so that the mystical becomes visible to him.

The relentless sea is symbolised in Pallusseck's graphic portfolios, the logbook of the Acardia, Traven's “Das Totenschiff” and Britten's opera “Peter Grimes”. Like the graphic reproduction, his paintings are also imbued with the mysteries of the sea.

Sometimes the abstract element predominates, sometimes the figurative, but one thing is common to all works: the painter's personal traces of life.
