NDL's international breakthrough came in Berlin 2005, where she was the only Nordic artist to be included in the censored International Assemblage Artist Exhibition 2005.

Nadja Djurovic Larsen has also had several solo exhibitions and participated in several censored exhibitions in Denmark, Germany, Serbia, USA, Dubai, Italy, Spain, Holland, Sweden, Portugal.
