LONE ARP
STAND #18

Lone Arp explains: "My works arise across several disciplines, which are somehow connected through my love for aesthetics, sensuality, colors and organic forms and movement. Objects from nature, such as flowers, inspire with living, moving shapes and colors, regardless of what medium is being worked with. I love the idea of having the freedom to work with different expressions and materials, and not being boxed in as something specific."

Lone Arp's works, which take the form of paintings, sculptures and wall reliefs, are built around an energy with a gentle language characterized by soft strokes and curves, several or many layers and reflections between light, transparency and shadow.

Since 2004, Lone Arp has created a selection of original works, often with an undertone of feminine craftsmanship, and has, in addition to various exhibitions at art associations and companies, been included in the censored Spring Exhibition, Charlottenborg art gallery and the artists' Easter exhibition, Aarhus art building.
