KATRIN ROTH

Katrin Roth is a visual artist in painting and graphics. She lives and works in Duisburg. The focus of her art lies in the processing of nature and landscapes developed from the study of certain landscape regions.

Katrin works with oil and acrylic on paper and canvas and she has a great passion for the Nordic landscapes. It brings her back to her roots. In recent years, she has made business trips to various Nordic countries such as Scotland, Sweden, Denmark and the Faroe Islands. She is always looking for the core of a landscape. This can be a characteristic color, a movement pattern or an atmospheric sensation. In times of increasing landscape cultivation and climate change, the artistic commitment to nature and landscape also has a documentary and political character for Katrin.
