GLEBOS
STAND #18

Internationally acclaimed Russian artist Gleb Dusavitskiy has exhibited in many parts of the world throughout his career. He has major monumental sculptures permanently on display in public spaces in, among others, Cyprus, Russia, China, South Korea, Argentina, Mexico, Switzerland, France, New Zealand and Denmark. His works can also be seen at various exhibitions in several parts of Europe and Asia. Furthermore, his art is represented at the National Art Museum in Beijing. He has participated in more than 80 international sculpture symposia since 2008.

Gleb creates works in a variety of materials, including wood, metal, stone, ice, snow and bronze, and likes to experiment with different proportions of size - from smaller indoor works to large monumental works. He expresses himself through the relationship between volume and space in the artwork and its surroundings, and creates aesthetic balance by playing with reflections and structures.

Gleb's inspiration comes from the beauty that can be found where you least expect it. He sees his art as drops of positivity and it is his desire that these drops can generate rings that can make the world a better place.

Gleb was born in the USSR and grew up in a time when toys were not commonplace. He therefore, at an early age, designed his own figures, in modeling wax, with which he played. This was the start of a burgeoning interest in art.

He has studied at Penza School of Art and graduated from 'Penza Architecture University' in Russia, with a master's degree in 'Interior Design'. Through his education, Gleb refined his own visual, artistic expression and focus on the intersections of architecture, art, interior design and space.
