Charlotte Ludvigsen explains: “I paint what I see and want to tell stories with my art. I am inspired by people I meet and the slightly crooked expression, the imperfect which can be enormously beautiful. That is why you also find proportions in my paintings that are not completely correct.”

"I primarily paint in 2 universes, one of which represents both colorful, crazy and powerful figures, while the other "The Ladies" tries to reproduce the calm, quiet and sensitive. With that, I try to convey that life is neither black nor white, but full of contrasts.”
