LITOGRAPHIC WORKSHOP SINCE 1896
The studio is today is the oldest workshop for original lithographs in Paris. The founder, Auguste Clot, was already regarded as the capital's finest art printer by the end of the last century. From 1896, on Clot's presses, the most beautiful masterpieces in color lithography were printed by: Degas, Cézanne, Renoir, Bonnard, Munch, Rodin and many others. In the 1960s, the Editions Atelier Clot was created and moved to the Marais neighborhood. Artists such as Asger Jorn, Alechinsky, Bram Van Velde, Lindström, Wyckaert, Pol Bury, Topor, Saura and many others have their time in the workshop. Since the 1990s, printing and publishing has been represented in Denmark.
