ANJA FØNSS

Anja Fønss er multikunstneren bag de fascinerende skulpturer Fools & Faces i fiberbeton og abstrakte, sanselige akrylmalerier

Med en baggrund som bl.a. master i børnemusik og singer/songwriter (med flere anmelderroste udgivelser bag sig), er leg med toner, rytmer og bevægelser et væsentligt afsæt i hendes kunstneriske udtryk. Ofte komponeres der også sange til værkerne.

Anja maler og modellerer intuitivt, så både stringente linjer og bløde bølger finder vej til gemte udtryk i både male- og betonlagene. Malingen er mest akryl på lærred, men hun eksperimenterer gerne med alle materialer - Anja fortæller: 

”Musikken er min følgesvend og kunsten udtrykker for mig en besyngelse af naturen og af ”det satans liv”. Mine Fools & Faces er livet i al sin foranderlighed, forgængelighed og forfald og i alle dets bevægelige og skæve former. Det håber jeg du helt konkret, kan mærke og høre musikken og sangen i”

Anja har de sidste år skabt et større udvalg af både malerier og skulpturer, som hun har præsenteret ved flere kunstmesser.

With a background such as masters in children's music and singer/songwriter (with several critically acclaimed releases behind her), playing with tones, rhythms and movements is an important starting point in her artistic expression. Often songs are also composed for the works.

Anja paints and models intuitively, so that both strict lines and soft waves find their way to hidden expressions in both the paint and concrete layers. The paint is mostly acrylic on canvas, but she likes to experiment with all materials - Anja says:

"Music is my companion and art expresses to me a singing of nature and of "the life of Satan". My Fools & Faces is life in all its changeability, impermanence and decay and in all its moving and warped forms. I hope that you can feel and hear the music and the song in concrete terms"

In recent years, Anja has created a larger selection of both paintings and sculptures, which she has presented at several art fairs.
